Alli is one of the most friendliest, affectionate, happy little Boxer you could ever wish to meet. She welcomes everyone and everything with nothing but Boxer bum wiggles and plently of slobbery kisses!

Alli has come to us from a loving family who are going to miss her tremdously and probably her them, she needs a loving family home to give her the life she is accustomed to. Which consists of love, food, walks and attention.. they don't ask for much do they?!!

Alli loves her grub ... she needs to lose alot of weight, so she has currently been put on a diet with some gentle exercise to take the weight off her gradually.

Alli is used to living with children, the youngest being 1 yrs old, she loves other dogs and is very people friendly. She is currently in a foster home in Birmingham.

Biff came to us as a stray - Somebody has got to be missing this lad as he is gorgeous and so well behaved !! He's served his time in the pound and has been with us now for only a few days. He's still being assessed but I haven't come across any problems with him at all.

Jordie is great with other dogs and kids, just doesn't like cats (really doesn't). Unfortunately Jordie was handed to us as his owner had to make a very hard decision to give him up. Jordie was very loved by his owner. Jordie is on injections for his ear allergy - His allergy vaccination vile expires in february. This must be administered every three weeks, by injecting into the scruff. His is currently being fostered in Hampshire.


His foster Mum says he's a really good lad! He cannot be faulted with the children (aged between 7 and 3). He does nick the odd shoe or toy so they are working on teaching him the difference between his stuff and theirs. He's a real friendly chap with other dogs.
He was a little noisy in the night, but their street can be a little busy at kicking out time, so they think he'll settle down no problems.

Amber is currently in a foster home. Here is the latest news from her foster Mum!

Hi I am home with amber, I will let her settle in and then she will meet the boxers lol, making her self at home , she is such a sweetie and very well behaved, iv took her around the block she saw another dog on the other side and took no notice, she has also meet the neighbours cat ,had a sniff and walked away .

Amber is a right little character , we took her to the market today and she thought that jumping up everyone for a stroke was ok lol , such a good girl not one accident indoors (still) getting better with the boxers her favorite is jerry my male year old , we took them to the school and she played lovely but retreated to the front room when we got home lol

Why we are holding the auction

All money raised from this auction will be going towards the care of dogs at Northern Rose Boxer Rescue. This contribution helps to cover the costs involved in running the rescue. All dogs in the rescue receive food, shelter, necessary treatments, vet checks, micro chipping and vaccinations. Additional costs are incurred when an animal requires veterinary treatment for illness or injury or when the dog needs to be transported to or from the rescue. These costs, paid by the rescue, can run into hundreds of pounds per dog.

We are relying on members to donate items.. it dosen't matter how little or large ..EVERYTHING WILL HELP !

Bidders will have 2 weekS to pay for their items otherwise the item will be offered to the next highest bidder. BUT PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOUR NOT PREPARED TO PAY FOR YOUR ITEMS !!

The starting bid on all items will be £1 , if postage is required then that will be added on top. If you are donating an item and require postage then state this when you submit your item please.

Once you have sent payment for an item a pm will be sent to the member donating giving details of where to post your item to.

If you are bidding on an item and live outside the uk please state this to the person donating the item as you may need to pay additional postage costs

As we have a few members who live outside the UK, we have an exception to payment for these people who wish to bid on any items in the auction.

Chops is really just a very big puppy who was abandoned and due to be put to sleep. He had some basic training in the past. He's good in the house, goes to the toilet outdoors. Can be left alone without barking/whining. He's been wormed and de-flead- He's currently on 3 meals a day as he's a little underweight at the moment. He scoffs his food down so fast it's only down a few seconds!!

First night he was a little anxious but soon settled for a cuddle on the sofa.

Chops is currently in his foster home in Manchester. He is living with a family including kids and another dog.

A note from his foster Mum -

Chops has come to stay with us & has only been here a couple of hours but boy-what an impression! He's handsome, well mannered & so far great with Kids, not just mine but all the locals have been to the fence to see him & he's been a BIG hit He is making an impression on our dog - she's just not sure what impression yet as he's keen to get closer to her and she's not sure yet but I think they'll be great by morning & any hesitance is off her not Chops, he's making all the right moves! He encountered a cat outside earlier, he looked but didn't chase so will probably be OK.

He is food obsessed at the minute and looked very sad when I put the dinner scraps in the bin but I'm sure once he settles he'll realise he doesn't have to gulp everything he can.

ooh hold on,yep that was Chops with his head stuck in the kitchen bin & he's opened the cupboard door although he hasn't touched the food so that's a good sign.

So far I couldn't ask for anything better & the kids & other half seem just as taken with him.

Tomorrow is meeting other dogs on the park so I'll let you know how he goes on.

Angel is a gorgeous girl. She house trained, good with other dogs, people and kids.

Angel has been a very much loved family pet who's owners were devestated that they had to give her up.

She's currently being fostered in Rochdale.

what can say about her, Angel by name Angel by nature comes to mind.

Angel has been with us almost 2 days and and i have to say she is your typical, young bouncy boxer girl. She has met our young pup Obi and has been fine with him, lots of boxer playfullness between the two. She adores her squeaky toys but is willing to tolerate them being pinched.

She is EXTREMLY CLEAN in the house and will go to the door when needing to go out. She knows lots of commands, her previous owners have obviously done lots of work with her. She will make a dream dog for anyone.

On walks she is very good and will walk on an extender lead quite happily, she may require a little work in this area but i have come across worse lead pulling dogs. She is happy to greet any dogs with no aggression. I have not yet let her off lead but she does return back when her name is called and she is at full stretch on her extender lead.

Angel is a real people dog, she meets everyone enthusiastically wether its a child or adult, she does not lunge at them but does expect lots of affection. She has a HUGE tongue wich she likes to do kisses with.

Angel is a fantastic dog who really does deserve to have a forever home A.S.A.P

Although we do not now how Angel is living with cats, her foster Mum has said that she has shown interest in the cat that lives next door but has not shown any aggression towards it.

Having never had a dog who came upstairs.. look what i found in my bed this morning!
Brian is doing brilliantly with my three cats.. loves my poodle girl.. and is absolutely fantastic with the kids.. who wouldnt love him? Amazing to think he has been in kennels a year.. he is clean around the house.. clearly well used to cuddles on sofa and bed! worms his way silently until he has his head on the pillow ...

Bo is good with kids but tends to jump up and is too boisterous and strong to live with young kids - but could live with teenagers who know how to treat a dog with respect. we will not rehome with cats. Would love to live with another friendly dog if possible. Travels well.

Bo is a lively young dog who needs attention and training, owned by someone strong and firm with a lot of patience. Hes brilliant on and off the lead and likes to stay close to you, he always looks back to make sure your still there. Potential owners will have to demonstrate a commitment to attending dog training classes and show they are able to give enough exercise.

Leo is a red & white 11 months old entire lad, he's a tall boxer but very underweight.

He had only been fed on table scraps. He was wary at first, but his tail soon started wagging when he realised there was no threat to him.

He's met a few of the other dogs, wagged his tail and acted like he wants to play.

He needs some special TLC and 4 small meals a day to build him up.

Leo is now been rehomed.

Ollie came to us 9/7/08 and he's a little underweight. He has a very nice nature and as you can see he's a lovely looking boy. Ollie has had his first set of vaccinations, and has had flea and worm treatments.

He is good with children.

Rafa came in from the stray pound. He's a young energetic boxer cross (possibly crossed with Great Dane). On his first day with the pack he bonded really well. He is a very affectionate boy, good offlead and well behaved in the house.

He is a typical playful pup, is microchipped and has received flea & worm treatments.

He is currently in a foster home in Barnsley (W. Yorks), where he is mixing well with their 2 dogs.
